Attending Rogers cup, the experience was excellent. Well organised, staff is helpful. Food is affordable though a bit more expensive than the average. Parking is a bit far but they provide shuttle buses from and to.
Another great Rogers Cup! It's a wonderful venue for tennis and it is organized well with many volunteers to assist. On the grounds you can wander to different matches, watch pros practice, chill at various outdoor cafe style spots, there is a fairly large variety of food options and while food and drink is not inexpensive by any means it is nice to be able to walk around with a cold beer or glass of wine wherever you want or pick up something to eat easily. The Centre Court stadium can get incredibly hot so dress accordingly. Parking is available but it's $20 (30 in other places) and you have to take a shuttle from the lot which can be a lot of waiting. Taking the subway isn't a bad option but you'll have to walk to and fro from the station to the centre which is about 15 mins. I've seen lots of people bring their own food in and you can also bring a water bottle but it must be a transparent container or they won't allow it in. The Rogers Cup is an enjoyable way to spend a nice Summer's day and tickets are pretty reasonable early in the week.
Tennis Canada has done a fantastic job with this year's Roger's Cuo Fan Experience. The App is a must download for everyone in attendance. Take the 108 Bus from Pioneer Village Station, Massive improvements made too food concourse and expanded seating capacity was a needed development.
I go here for the Roger Cup annually. Never been disappointed. Well organized facility...hi 5 to this organization.
I went to my first tennis match at the Aviva centre this past weekend and got to watch Nadal play which was amazing. When the sun is out it is almost unbearable, as soon as we sat down at 6pm the seats were on fire! Once the sun went down behind the billboards it was great though. Not much offerings for beer and the food was subpar at best but didn't take away from the overall experience and excitement! Would definitely come back again.
