Took my dad for his first Tennis Match and were able to see Sharapova 😍. The place was well organized though tons of distraction inside got us a bit lost but there are so many people walking about to guide you. The food and drinks were over priced as usual nothing shocking if you have been to other sporting events. I wasn’t happy with the $30 parking on unpaved road. The seats are very basic and not the most comfortable to sit for the 2:45 hr match we saw. The view for the match was great and I could imagine any seat would give you a great view as this is not a really big stadium. I hope they make some improvements on parking and seats if they are charging these high prices and not that Canadian Tennis is getting world recognition.
Attending Rogers cup, the experience was excellent. Well organised, staff is helpful. Food is affordable though a bit more expensive than the average. Parking is a bit far but they provide shuttle buses from and to.
Tennis Canada has done a fantastic job with this year's Roger's Cup Fan Experience. The App is a must download for everyone in attendance. Take the 108 Bus from Pioneer Village Station, Massive improvements made too food concourse and expanded seating capacity was a needed development.
Another great Rogers Cup! It's a wonderful venue for tennis and it is organized well with many volunteers to assist. On the grounds you can wander to different matches, watch pros practice, chill at various outdoor cafe style spots, there is a fairly large variety of food options and while food and drink is not inexpensive by any means it is nice to be able to walk around with a cold beer or glass of wine wherever you want or pick up something to eat easily. The Centre Court stadium can get incredibly hot so dress accordingly. Parking is available but it's $20 (30 in other places) and you have to take a shuttle from the lot which can be a lot of waiting. Taking the subway isn't a bad option but you'll have to walk to and fro from the station to the centre which is about 15 mins. I've seen lots of people bring their own food in and you can also bring a water bottle but it must be a transparent container or they won't allow it in. The Rogers Cup is an enjoyable way to spend a nice Summer's day and tickets are pretty reasonable early in the week.
I go here for the Roger Cup annually. Never been disappointed. Well organized facility...hi 5 to this organization.
