The Ramada is an excellent, affordable hotel. We were put into the poolside building. Our room (on the first floor) was spacious, we had access to a small patio, and we were situated close to the pool and workout room as advertised. The pool opens at 7 am, however, when we tried to go in a bit after 7, it would not open. Upon speaking to the front desk, we received a brand new room card, no questions asked. This, along with their easy, pain-free check in process illustrated the excellent customer service that we experienced during our stay. Parking was plentiful and low cost, at $5.00 a night. Parking was situated very close to the rooms, so unloading the car was a breeze. The room itself was very clean, and the bed (and the pillows!) were comfortable. However, we requested a queen and it seemed as though we only got a double, so it was slightly cramped. Additionally, we were given an accessible room. Our shower had a seat inside of it, and our room had a doorbell outside of it. It was very spacious, allowing for a wheelchair or other mobility device. The pool was accessible as well, and had a pool lift that could be operated for those with mobility issues. However, the aforementioned patio that could be entered from a door at the back of our room was NOT accessible, and had a small step. Just something to keep in mind for those seeking an accessible room. All in all, an excellent hotel experience.
Is Ok-esh hotel. Visited the city on a high season and the rate was very high. Not just this hotel but all hotels in town. Front desk staff are nice and accommodating. They help us extend our stay. The hotel itself is clean and parking is available too.
Nice older hotel, nicely modernized. Nice clean rooms and beds. Doors on rooms and bathrooms in pool side building were older and stuck. Floor tile grout in bathroom needed replacing.
This hotel provided everything we needed for a quick 1 night stay in Kingston. Convenient parking right outside our room was nice. The room was clean and modern, though the bathroom was very small. It’s about a $15CAD Uber ride from the night life but not nearly as expensive as the hotels that are near the water.
