Good hotel. Handy valet or self park option. Good nearby restaurants ranging in cost. Lucky to be upgraded to corner room. Great size room. Clean and up to date. (USB ports next to the bed!!! Who'd have thought that would be handy 😏)

Hyatt Regency on the upper scale end of the Hyatt brand. This property in Calgary is Downtown and connected to the Calgary convention Centre. It is also right off of Stephens Ave which is the main street full of shops and restaurants and is a block away from the Calgary Tower. The guestrooms have undergone recent renovations and it shows. 18th floor pool and hot tub have a great view of the city and the fitness room is better than your average Hotel. They are currently undergoing restaurant renovations but they have enough lobby space to accommodate a temporary space and provide great food regardless. Highly recommend this property.

Company put us up here for a convention. Great service, a nice gymn and pools, so much wonderful art everywhere! The catered meals were great, with mostly satisfactory and well-labelled gluten free options - just the bread with the gala dinner was terrible.

Rooms are nice and have been renovated recently. There is a definite classy and upscale ambiance, but amenities are on par with about every typical hotel. Hotel is very close to a nice street with lots of restaurants and bars. I found prices to be on the high-side, moreso since there is no included breakfast. Breakfast buffet, at the time of this review will offset you another 26$, which I find rather high (there is a good selection however, which could explain higher prices). I would definitely suggest adding a free tier for hotel customers, as the rooms already cost a pretty penny (starting at about 250 a night).

Stayed here often and took part in organizing large events in the hotel and enjoyed it every time. My guests also liked their stay. I don’t often eat breakfast in hotels but here it’s always worth it. The oatmeal is to die for. Staff is helpful, rooms nice with everything you could need. Location central.
