General Meeting Room
This place is practically an institution! You start with the view. Wow. You can be entertained or you can eat well, which is also entertaining. The interior of the hotel is bright and modern. It is pleasing to the eye. Stay if you come to Saskatoon. Try a different hotel each time to find your fit. This place is an easy fit.
Our adult kids took us here for our wedding anniversary brunch. The stuffed waffle (about 2 in thick, 10 in in diameter, essentially made from cinnamon bun dough stuffed with creme cheese and fruit) was to die for! But one of them might feed three people.
We took a room at this Hotel on Saturday August 3rd. It was inexpensive, the room was clean and had everything we needed. It was a bit noisy due to the view of the air conditioning or a vent of some kind. Luckily, we like white noise at night so it worked for us. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the gluten free options for the continental breakfast, while present, were very limited. I ordered the one option, but the toast was toasted on on side and came warmish and un-buttered with no butter on the side, and the hash browns tasted like pancakes and were pasty and inedible. Nice Hotel, limited breakfast options for those with dietary needs.
Very convenient location - Close to may restaurants and park. Super professional and friendly staff. The river view is a bonus.
Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this place. One of our co workers had a bad experience here years past so we were skeptical. As soon as we walked in we were amazed at how much the decor had changed and how great things were. The rooms were very nice and our stay was fantastic. The Irish music was great from the little pub downstairs and parktown was within walking distance from everything we needed.
