Huge thanks to the amazing staff who rescued me from an abysmal and wet camping attempt with 2 children. They just reopened and have great protocols in place to keep everyone safe. The pool was a hit and I loved the fact that I got to book the pool in 45 min blocks. Booking pool times allowed for sanitizing after each use and gave us the pool to ourselves! The hot tub is still not open but the jetted tub in the room allowed for my poor muscles to recover after a night of camping. The breakfast bag in the morning was a lovely addition and a nice way for the hotel to provide a bite to eat in the morning. My kids loved the location and were so grateful for relief from "the great outdoors". Both staffing shifts I had the pleasure of talking too were absolutely wonderful! Thanks again Best Western!!

I dropped in one evening without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel is. My room was really clean, and felt new like everything was in really good condition. The 3 different staff I encountered in my stay were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast too. I will stay here next time I’m in Sylvan for sure.

When it comes to hotels I'm not very picky. The staff was friendly, the included breakfast was delicious, the rooms were a bit dated but served there purpose with a fridge and microwave! The gym was not great, I was hoping there would at least be some free weights however y When it came to strength equipment the only had 2 options to choose from, one was an ab bench and the other was a multi-machine that has seen better days. I was unable to adjust the seat to the proper height and I could not fully extend because the pole for stabilizing the weights would completely pull out and jam up on the way back down I would need to stop and re-center it. It was nice enough but if I were to stay at Sylvan Lake again I would try a different hotel, I would not avidly avoid this one, like I said nice enough but I wouldn't be clamoring to stay here.

Beautiful place to stay. I walked in the main lobby last week and heard music from the lounge. It was karaoke night and it was a party. Everyone had a good time. The rooms are clean and beautiful and I wish we could of brought home the bed. Its better than the orthopedic one we have at home. The staff is nice and the front desk lady who checked us in is hilarious. I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for a nice stay.

Nice, clean, well kept facility. Had a view of the lake and lighthouse and it was beautiful. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but the friendly staff and cleanliness make up for that. I would give 4.5 if I could but the current rating of 4.4 is very true.
