I’ve been staying at the Hyatt Regency annually for since 2013. It is hands down the best service at a hotel I’ve ever experienced. We usually come for a big event and they are so professional, patient, and friendly with all the attendees. Also, one time we were in Calgary, not even staying at the Hyatt, and the front desk let me leave a pair of glasses for a friend we weren’t able to contact who was downtown somewhere when we had to drive back to Edmonton right away. That is service! Sunday buffet brunch is also great.
We had a great stay in January. Prices were very cheap compared to summer. Parking is $30, so we just ended parking on the street for free on Sunday. Loved the water filter in the bathroom sink. Beds were comfortable. We got crib which was a pack and play with a mattress. They brought extra towels at the same time. They are connected to some of the sky bridges which my toddlers loved running around. Nice pool, never saw anyone in it.
Loved this place!!! Comfy beds—service was excellent. Everyone always greeted us with a smile...the breakfast buffet had a lot of options (although 21$ per person so make sure your hungry enough for that price—) and the bathrooms in the hotel made me feel like a movie star.!!
The rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable. They have magnificent staff who make a point of remembering you as you reenter. The food from room service is also delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay downtown Calgary.
Nice hotel and conveniently situated in the heart of Calgary. Within walking distance of several nice restaurants. parking onsite is available. Valet while listed, was not available when we were there. Our check in was fast but not amicable. Could have been more personal. Rooms are clean and large. Love the filtered water in the rooms. Pool/ spa were good. Sauna was out of service. decent gym. Good view of the Calgary tower from the pool area
