Absolutely delightful stay at this property. It felt like the whole staff worked together to make my stay exceptional. A special shout out to front office maestro extraordinaire - Narto! The smiles and hospitality on arrival and during my stay will bring me back.
We have had nothing less than a excellent experience at this hotel. All employees have been helpful, respectful and accommodating. The room is clean and comfortable. The deserts were delicious!
I had a gift certificate I received as a gift, and it was about to expire end of the year 2019. I e-mailed the hotel to ask if I can still use it after expires, and I received a very polite response from Chantel that she can help me to book the room for me. She gave me all the available dates to pick and it was very nice of her! When I checked in, front desk agent (I think his name was Floyd..? Black man with long hair)asked why I was holding flowers, and I said it's my birthday. Then he upgraded our room to Jacuzzi suits! I didn't expect anything and it was really nice of him upgrading our room! Then 10 min later, I received a beautiful dessert plate with wine! The service I received from Delta was just WOW. it was amazing. every single staff I met all smiled, and kind! (The lady who brought plates from in-room dining, housekeepers ) I just want to share my great experiences at Delta and Thank you again for Floyd to make my night special!! If I wrote ur name wrong, Sorry and Thank you again!
Excellent Airport Hotel. It is right next to the Calgary airport (you do not have to go outside to get to it). It is a slightly older hotel, but rooms and building are clean and bright. Rooms were a good size, not tiny like some newer hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful.
In all honesty, this is not the best hotel you can find in Calgary. It's a bit old and it shows, you will feel like you're back in the 1990's when entering it. However it has a huge advantage: it's literally in the airport! Be it for a short layover or a business trip, it's perfect. Price is a bit overpriced thanks to the location advantage compared to similar hotels a bit further. It has a lounge with bar, a dining area for the breakfast (no buffet, but some great choices of dishes that are quite tasty), a business center and a pool + jacuzzi. It's very quite at night, no planes noise. It would probably deserve to be "refreshed" in a 2020 look, but it's perfectly fine for a short stay.
